I’m Shelley Couvillion, a professional picture book artist/illustrator.

Commissions can be used to highlight a special time, place, pet or person, these are a one of a kind hand painted pieces.

Artwork brings coziness and a playful spark to your home and I love working together to create something special that will be treasured for years.

Put simply, I love a commission with a compelling heart.

I’m especially excited to work on commissions that have themes of: coziness, cottage core, fairies, fantasy, DND, gardens, quilts, wide open landscapes and playfulness but don’t worry, I’m also open to many ideas and I’m excited to hear what you have in mind. If our vision and timelines align I may choose to take on your commission request.

But that’s not what I do anymore. If you’re looking for a commission that will look EXACTLY like you, I might not be the right fit. My style is more simple but arguably more full of heart than it was while I worked there. That being said, I promise I do my utmost to capture the magic and heart of you and your family.

Because of my other work the timeline for most commissions is between 6-12 months. This can be moved up but there are rush fees.

This is an illustration with with no stops. The same level of detail I’d use for picture book work. Full color, full background, full magic.

Simple Illustration
