Does this post make my butt look big?

So, you probably know me from social media. My little corner of instagram stories, nice illustrations, adorable photos  and sketches of my mischievous toddler and home of ALL THE HASHTAGS. #Notsorryaboutallmyhashtags

I have a confession. My life isn’t as perfect as it looks on social media. My hair probably isn’t made, makeup is rarely done and it’s likely these are the clothes I wore yesterday. Baby barf stains included free of charge. I have cockroaches in my house because I occasionally leave food out and there’s probably toys scattered all over the floor. My toddler, though I love her with all my heart, drives me nuts at times in a I-really-wish-I-lived-on-a-snowy-mountaintop-by-myself kind of way.

But that’s ok. Actually it’s more than ok because when life is a bit messy it makes time for other experiences. When I’m not cleaning, organizing and putting away there is time to slow down and connect with my daughter. When I leave the dishes till later I trade it for time to do some sketches. When I leave the livingroom a mess we have time to go to the park. But you know what, as much as I LOVE the house being perfectly clean at the end of the day I don’t want to have a perfect life. I want a full life.
